Resources

Students interested in international history will find a wealth of resources in the greater Washington Area. These include: The National Archives in College Park and Washington D.C., the Library of Congress, International Monetary Fund Archive, the Center for Military History, the National Security Archive at George Washington University, as well as the numerous collections available at the Smithsonian Museums.

In addition to archival resources, the Washington D.C. area is home to an array of institutions that offer regular seminar, lectures, and public talks including the National History Center (http://nationalhistorycenter.org/) and the Woodrow Wilson Center (http://www.wilsoncenter.org/).  Regional universities, such as Georgetown, Johns Hopkins, American University, and George Washington University, offer regular programming on International History and Affairs.
