African American Political Culture Workshop Presents Nathan Connolly

The Department of History begins its series of workshops entitled African American Political Culture Workshops on Tuesday, November 17, 2009, with guest speaker Nathan Connolly.

 

Dr. Connolly is a professor at Johns Hopkins University in the Department of History.  He specializes in 20th Century U.S., race, migration, and urban history.  Connolly will discuss "Sunbelt Civil Rights: Urban Renewal and the Follies of Desegregation in Greater Miami."
