The Graduate Field Committee on Medieval and Early Modern Studies at the University of Maryland is pleased to announce the first of its 2011-12 lunchtime talks.

Professor Anthony Colantuono of the Department of Art History and Archeology will speak on "The Discipline of Desire at Ferrara: Titian's Este Bacchanals and the Libidinal Seasons.

A light lunch will be available beginning at noon that day.  Please join us for what promises to be a most enjoyable kickoff to our new season of events exploring the theme, "Geographies of Desire."
