Arthur Eckstein Speaks at Distinguished Scholar-Teacher Lecture Series

The Office of the Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs will host its second lecture in the 2009-2010 Distinguished Scholar-Teacher Lecture Series on Wednesday, October 21, 2009.  Professor Arthur Eckstein will speak on "Creating the Roman Juggernaut:  How Rome Broke from the Ancient City-State Pack."

Dr. Eckstein, a professor in the History Department, is an expert in Roman history and the Hellenistic era.  Eckstein is one of the 2009-2010 Distinguished Scholar-Teacher recipients.
