Austin Kibler on Conducting Research at the Archives

Austin Kibler, a recent M.A. graduate, will give a talk on "Conducting Research at the Archives: How the presence and absence of records drives a historical argument" at the Maryland State Archives in Annapolis. Mr. Kibler is currently employed as a research librarian at Williams and Connolly, LLP.  His thesis, “Maryland, the Marine Hospital Service, and the Medical Relief of Chesapeake Oyster Dredgers, 1870-1900,” was supervised by Dr. Thomas Zeller.
