History Graduate Conference: Transients, Transactions, Transgressions

College of Arts and Humanities | History Friday, February 25, 2011 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Taliaferro Hall, Rooms 2100, 2108 and 2110

The History Graduate Student Association will hold its sixth annual graduate student conference on February 25, 2011.
The conference will last from 8 am to 5 pm, present eighteen papers that examine various aspects of transnationalism, and Prof. Elizabeth Thompson from the University of Virginia will give the keynote address titled "When Politics is Not Just Local: Poor People's Movements in the Cold War Middle East." Food will be provided throughout the day. This event is funded in part by your Graduate Student Activities Fee and is open to all graduate students.
