Insurgent Archives: Soweto '76 and Digital Heritage in the New South Africa

The Department of American Studies, Department of African American Studies, Department of Anthropology, and the Historic Preservation Program of the School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation are continuing the Preserving and Remembering Black Heritages Fall 2009 lecture series with Angel David Nieves on Tuesday, December 1, 2009.

Dr. Nieves is an associate professor of Africana Studies at Hamilton College.  His talk is entitled "Insurgent Archives: Soweto '76 and Digital Heritage in the New South Africa."

There will be a desert reception before the talk begins at 6:30p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
