Jesus in Film Series: Jesus of Montreal

The Department of History and Department of Jewish Studies are co-hosting a Jesus in Film Series in conjunction with JWST331/HIST 320 Early Christianity: Jesus to Constantine course.  The featured film on Wednesday, April 14, 2010, is Jesus of Montreal.

This film includes a group of actors putting on an interpretive Passion play in Montreal begin to experience a meshing of their characters and their private lives as the production takes form against the growing opposition of the Catholic church.

This event is free and open to the public.
