The European Caucus of the Department of History, the Department of Germanic Studies and the Political Theory Caucus of the Department of Government are presenting the documentary film Only A God Can Save Us on Tuesday, March 23, 2010.

The screening and discussion of Jeffrey VanDavis’ documentary film focuses on Martin Heidegger (1889-1976) during the Nazi period.  The film examines the connection between Heidegger’s philosophy and his politics during the Nazi period.  There will be a discussion and question session with Jeffrey VanDavis moderated by Jeffrey Herf of the Department of History after the screening.
