Department of History Winter 2020 Commencement

The University of Maryland will hold a virtual campus-wide commencement ceremony on Sunday, December 20th, 2020.
Streamed live across multiple platforms, the ceremony will include an official commencement address from three-time Olympian and Olympic Gold Medalist Dominique Dawes ’02. Degrees will be officially conferred during this ceremony.
This ceremony will be livestreamed beginning at 1:00 PM at commencement.umd.edu. It will also be available on Facebook and YouTube.
Immediately following the end of the campus-wide ceremony, the College of Arts and Humanities will host a virtual ceremony specifically for ARHU graduates. You can find the link at commencement.umd.edu and the ARHU YouTube channel.
Our ceremony will feature remarks from Dean Bonnie Thornton Dill, messages from our graduating students and the names of all graduates. Closed captioning will be provided for both the main and college ceremonies.
No RSVP is required for either ceremony.
