Professor Jon Sumida has received the Commodore Dudley W. Knox Award from the Naval Historical Foundation.

A former doctoral student of Professor Jon Sumida has just been named Chancellor of the North Dakota University System. Mark Hagerott (PhD, 2008) will begin a three-year term on July 1, 2015.
