Colleen C. Ho
Lecturer

Colleen C. Ho received her PhD from the University of California, Santa Barbara, in 2013. Her research interests include thirteenth and fourteenth-century European-Mongol relations, medieval Eurasian travelers, and the diffusion of artistic practices across Eurasia in the medieval period. Recipient of a Fulbright award and numerous fellowships, she has published articles on Marco Polo, European relations with the Mongol Empire, and the legend of Prester John. She is currently working on projects about medieval female lay piety, Monsters in the Middle Ages, and revising her dissertation for publication. For the 2017-2018 academic year, Dr. Ho’s courses include The Medieval World, a seminar on race and religion in the Middle Ages, and Chinggis Khan and the Mongol Empire.
