Jack Werner is a Ph.D. student studying U.S. transnational history. His dissertation is a disability and labor history of the Philippines under U.S. colonial rule, examining U.S. soldiers, world's fair participants, U.S. teachers and Filipino students, and Filipino roadworkers.
