Department of History Research Partners
The Department of History partners with various groups and organizations around the globe in joint pursuit of the study of history. Early Modern Religious Dissents & Radicalism (EMoDiR) is an international network of scholars dedicated to the study of religious differences, conflicts, and plurality in Europe during the early modern period. They organize lectures, book talks, and conferences, as well as publish a newsletter for the membership. The First Millenium Network is a a network of universities and scholars who organize events in the greater DC area during the first millenium CE. It is focused on Byzantium, the Middle East, and western Europe.
