European Caucus Speakers Series

The European Caucus Speaker Series is dedicated to providing a forum within the Department  of History for presentations of cutting-edge research in European history. A typical semester will feature one or two events -- sometimes individual research talks, sometimes roundtable discussions involving multiple historians. Past speakers have often presented to the Department in conjunction with research trips to the National Archives or other DC-area resources and have shared with the Department their latest findings from the archives. Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Series has branched out to include Zoom events with scholars of European history joining us in real-time from all over Europe and North America. Any questions can be addressed to the Speaker Series convener Piotr H. Kosicki.
