Julia Grafstein Awarded 2024 IDEA Award for Undergraduate Research

History Major Wins Undergraduate Research Award

Julia Grafstein has been awarded the University Libraries and College of Information 2024 IDEA Award for Undergraduate Research.  She submitted a portion of her History Honors thesis, "Alienation and Alliances: Transgender Coalition-Building from the 1970s through the 1990s."  

The Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA) Award recognizes students who explored diversity issues, educated themselves, and inspired others to advance social justice by embracing the IDEA values through research.
