Marsha Rozenblit Article Wins Honorable Mention

Marsha Rozenblit wrote an article that has won an honorable mention for the annual R. John Rath Prize awarded to the best scholarly article published in the Austrian History Yearbook (AHY) administered by the Center for Austrian History at the University of Minnesota. The article is titled "Jews and German Politics: The Case of Habsburg Moravia, 1867-1918," Austrian History Yearbook 55 (2024): 155-173.  The award letter praised Marsha's article as "a master class in thorough, detailed socio-political history." The article is also credited for revising "our narrative of how Jews and traditional German liberalism intersected at a moment of profound ideological shifts in the empire" and also profoundly enriching "our understanding of the Jewish experience and political development in the decades before and after the turn of the century."
