Oyster Futures (April 22, 2026)
Oyster Futures is a photo essay written by Khushi Desai during the Winter and Spring 2026 semesters under the direction of Dr. Jayson Porter. It discusses how human and oyster relations have changed in the Choptank River throughout history. It covers Indigenous culture, capitalism and marketing, oyster research, and modern advances in conservation.
