Hannah Nolan is a Ph.D. candidate studying the nineteenth century, focusing upon transatlantic radicalism and the creation of ethnic and national identities during the Early American Republic. Her dissertation will examine the American collective memories of the United Irishmen and their usage as political and ethnic organizing tools.
