Julia Preston

Julia Preston received a BA in history and Russian Studies from Carleton College in 2019. A native Washingtonian, she is excited to enter UMD's HiLS program. She plans to focus on 19th century American history, with a particular interest in women's history and the role of religion in American culture. She is a student assistant in the Maryland and Historic Collections at Hornbake Library and hopes to work in academic or special collections libraries after graduation.
