Marjorie Antonio
Marjorie Justine Antonio is a public historian in the dual-Master's program in History and Library Information Science. Their research interests include modern transpacific history and Asian American studies, with a focus on transnational Filipino activism, visual culture, and community archives. Their public history work ranges from archival projects on immigrant oral histories, place-based preservation education, to social movement documentation and media.
Marjorie is a 2025-2026 graduate fellow with the Frederick Douglass Center for Leadership Through the Humanities, and was previously a National Park Service intern with the American Conservation Experience and the National Council for Preservation Education, Visiting Research Fellow at the University of the Philippines - Center for International Studies, and an inaugural UMD Arts for All graduate fellow.
