The First Millennium Network is pleased to announce its first work-in-progress seminar. The seminar will meet on Friday, September 22, from 9:30am to 5:15pm, in the Happel Room, Caldwell Hall, on the CUA campus. At the seminar, four pre-circulated papers will be discussed, as follows:

John Weisweiler, "From Republican Empire to Universal State" Sean Moberg, "Conversion in Monasticism and Philosophy" Cynthia Brandenburg, "The Lyric Sword: An Aesthetics of Contest - The Glory of Men in a Poem by the Umayyad Poet, Jarīr" Karl Shuve, "Brides of Christ"
