Department of History PhD Student Wins Article Prize

Department of History PhD student Leah Rasmussen (Advisor Sarah Cameron) has won the 2024 John L. Snell Memorial Prize for best graduate seminar paper in European history from the European Section of the Southern Historical Association.  Her paper is entitled: "The Art of Collapse: The 1988-Sotheby's Soviet Auction Pact." The Snell Award winner will be honored at the SHA Conference in October 2024 in Kansas City, MO.
