Please join us in welcoming our new Miller Fellow in History, Chantel Rodriguez.  Dr. Rodríguez, a past recipient of the Smithsonian Institution Latino Studies Fellowship, received her PhD at the University of Minnesota in 2013.  Rodríguez completed her dissertation, “Health on the Line: The Politics of Citizenship and the Railroad Bracero Program of World War II,” under the direction of Erika Lee and Barbara Young Welke.
