Christopher Roberts Receives Yoseloff Scholarship

History and Education double major Christopher Roberts was awarded a Yoseloff Scholarship to attend the Society for American Baseball Research's 50th annual conference in Baltimore, MD. This competitive scholarship was awarded to only ten students nationwide.

Chris's HIST 408 (Senior Capstone Seminar) research paper explored the causes and consequences of Disco Demolition Night at Chicago's Comiskey Park, long-time home of the Chicago White Sox. He also presented his research at last year's UMD Undergraduate Research Day.
