History PhD Student Receives Fulbright Research Grant

Anna Wenzel Chosen Fulbright Research Scholar in Mexico

Anna Wenzel (PhD student) has received a Fulbright research grant to study the historical contexts and ideologies of conservative organizations in 1960s Mexico. Anna will be enrolled in the International Exchange Program of her host institution, El Colegio de México in Mexico City. She will participate in courses with Mexican scholars and students of Latin American history from around the globe. Anna will complete her dissertation on returning to the US, and will pursue either a position as a professor of Latin American history or use her Spanish language skills in the non-profit sector.
