Department of History faculty member Julie Greene appears in a number of media outlets commenting on the history and fate of the Panama Canal.  She has an op-ed published on TIME.com about what could happen with the canal HERE. Julie is also quoted in an article about the Panama Canal published by Radio Free Europe, for now available only in Ukrainian and Turkmen, but with translations coming soon HERE.
 

Julie's new book  Box 25: Archival Secrets, Caribbean Workers, and the Panama Canal, published by the University of North Carolina Press earlier this month about the experiences of migrant workers from the Caribbean who built the Panama Canal is featured in an Unsung History podcast you can listen to HERE.
