Julie Taddeo to Receive the Provost’s Excellence Award for Professional Track Faculty

Outstanding Contributions and Accomplishments in Research

The Department of History is pleased to announce that Julie Taddeo has been selected to receive the Provost’s Excellence Award for Professional Track Faculty. Written in her award letter is the following: "The University of Maryland is proud to count you among its faculty. The selection committee recognized your commitment to the University’s research mission in your cross-disciplinary approach to the history of women and gender in Modern British and European Social and Cultural History. I also greatly appreciate your long and accomplished record of teaching and program leadership for the department." Taddeo also serves as Director of the Department of History Undergraduate Internship Program and Faculty Adviser to the History Undergraduate Association (HUA).
