UMD Historian Training Doctoral Students in Montevideo

Karin Reosemblatt is cosponsoring a week-long doctoral school with ESOCITE (Asociación Latinoamericana de Estudios Sociales de la Ciencia y la Tecnología /  Latin American Association for Social Studies of Science and Technology). The conference will be held in Montevideo, Uruguay, July 24-28, 2023. Thirty graduate students from across the Americas will present dissertation chapters for discussion and critique. Rosemblatt's National Science Foundation sponsored network for the study of science and knowledge in Latin America and the Caribbean is funding the first-ever participants from PhD programs at US universities.
