Alexandra (Lexi) Kadis, a HiLS student in Modern British History (Advisor: Julie Taddeo), recently presented at two conferences.  At the Northeast Popular Culture Association's 2023 Conference, Virtual, October 12, 2023 she presented a paper entitled “Japanese Acrobats on the Victorian Stage: Athletes or Popular Entertainments?." At the Victorians Institute's Hard Times 2023 Conference, NC State University, Raleigh, NC, October 7, 2023 she presented “Japanese Acrobats as Athletes on the Victorian Stage, 1867 - 1870.”
